Religion and Art

What do you think about religion? Are you religious? For centuries, art was dominated by religious themes. Art without reference to religion did not exist. It is believed that the first paintings of mankind were already connected with religious acts. Religion, in my case Christianity, is still a great inspiration for artists. In the next few days I'll be posting some paintings with religious themes that everyone knows: Eve and Adam, The Banishment from Paradise, and the Story of Cain and Abel. In my training to be a teacher, I studied Catholic theology. I've read parts of the Bible, started over and over, but haven't had perseverance. As a teenager I went to youth services. Voluntarily. I spent a few days in the monastery in Baden-Baden, where I served as a house helper. Again and again I try to start praying. It lasts for a couple of days and then I forget about it. Being religious isn't easy, it's a habit that you can learn if you want to. Or when you are brought to religion from an early age. In theory, I've always been fond of religion. In practice it was harder. Nonetheless, I believe religion is important. I don't think morality can be defined without a god, without religion. If so, feel free to tell me how. It's a big philosophical topic, but I like to think about things like that.⠀
